Our warm up today was on review of the water cycle and distribution of the water on Earth.
Next we went over some common causes and problems of water pollution in North Carolina. What we realized is that most of the problems come down to too much excess nutrients we are adding to our water. If you were not here, you will need to get the handout from me and take a look at the powerpoint to fill in the answers. This handout goes on page 94 in your notebook.

Lastly, on page 95 we went over some Water Quality Indicators. Water quality indicators are the 5 things scientists look at when they are trying to determine if the water is safe for the organisms living in it...NOT YOU!! These indicators are pH levels, dissolved oxygen, temperature, turbidity, and bio-indicators.
